The Mobile Roadie team is incredibly excited to announce the biggest update to our app creation platform yet. Aside from numerous platform-wide improvements, we're moving from one signature product (Mobile Roadie CORE) to three: CORE, PLUS and PRO. All are available for both iPhone and Android.

3.0 Platform Wide Updates

We've updated our platform to Mobile Roadie 3.0, our most advanced version yet. MoRo 3.0 adds new app sections, performance enhancements, and iOS 4 support to our already expansive feature set. Here's an overview of what to expect in your upcoming FREE app update.

The FanWall has been updated to increase user-engagement with more location based features. This includes browsing posts on a map overlay and sorting by photos-only.

We're heavily focused on increasing user-engagement, so we're enabling all apps with Push Notifications. Besides giving you the ability to send geo-targeted messages at any time, it allows us to build in more socially "sticky" tools (like auto-notifying users when someone comments on their comment). Look for more updates on auto-notifications soon.

Now users can bookmark their favorite tweets, images, and other content, making it easy to personalize the app with the things that matters most to them.

The new Top Users section is a leader board of the top users of your app. A user now earns points every time they use the app, and the more engaged they are, the more points they earn (e.g. posting to F B/Twitter, sharing comments and photos). This adds a gaming incentive to users, and allows you to identify and connect directly with your super fans.

iOS4 Updates — We've added support for many of the most popular iOS4 features, including multitasking (app stays open in background), background audio (music keeps playing when switching to another app), hi-res graphics for retina display and background location.

iPod integration allows users to play an entire track that’s already on their iPod from inside the app so if a fan already owns your music, they're rewarded with the higher quality, and full track playback.

Users can now RSVP to shows and events and add the event directly to their calendar.

We've extended our international reach even further. The following languages are now baked right into the app (section names and viral messages), and appear automatically depending on the user's setting:

Introducing MoRo Pro

Mobile Roadie Pro was designed to give you an unprecedented amount of creative control from a platform, allowing full customization of menu layout, colors, buttons, and fonts. Pro also supports multiple categories of content, a global search for users, and newly designed landscape views.

Three examples of apps built on the new Pro platform include the Wynn Las Vegas, indie electro label Ninja Tune, and music and lifestyle publication The FADER.

Customize Every Pixel

If you're looking to plug-and-play, our vast design library lets you choose from a wide variety of menu layouts. Take customization a step further and adjust the color, transparency, padding, and typefaces—or upload your own icons to make it fully your own.

Stay Organized

We built in deep categorization and a global search, enabling you to quickly organize lots of content with an interface that’s still intuitive and easy-to-use. Plus, you can highlight new and important content with featured-content slideshows.

Landscape Orientation

MoRo Pro supports horizontal viewing, so your content will rotate with the phone orientation. Many of these views are enhanced to take full advantage of the device's widescreen format.
